This will hopefully precede similar decisions in the future with other countries such as the United States and Russia. Now, the players can break France up into Vichy France, Brittany and the SS State of Burgundy, and the UK can be broken up into Cornwall, Scotland, Wales and North Ireland can be given back to Ireland, allowing many happy little fascist states in Europe. But once you’re done conquering Europe in the name of the fuhrer, you can then breakup your conquests in order to to prevent rebellion and further spread your fascist message. Italy also has a large army on the mainland as well as colonial forces in their colonies. No longer will the UK only have a single fleet or France have one lonely army. Instead of declaring war on Russia in Operation: Barbarossa, players now go through the April War with Yugoslavia where they can then partition the nation in a manner similar to the one done so in WW2.Īrmies of the participating countries have also been buffed accordingly. Other decisions have been made to flesh out WW2 and the post war experience for a victorious Germany. Members can create the European Coal and Steel Community, the Rome Treaty, the Maarstricht Treaty and then create the Federal Europe. In the same vein as the Scandinavia events in other mods for Victoria 2, you can slowly enact more decisions with the eventual goal of federalizing the European Union, which can be done by any member nation. More than events however are new decisions. New events have been added to almost all the dates, special events firing if the Cold War goes hot, as well as more video games and some very special and very accurate events that really flesh out the new millennium. Now that we’ve finished discussing how much things have changed behind the scenes, we can discuss just how much has changed. Blog posts will now be posted there as well, and may come with more regularity and consistency than the ModDB ones.

With that in mind, we’ve also begun creating a new website ( ) to match. With all this new talent, we have had the ability to expand our involvement with the community and have created a new forum ( ) Which will allow us to communicate with the community far more efficiently than the ModDB forum allowed us. With the inclusion of all these people with many unique ideas, the changelog is one of the largest and most diverse yet, and we only had a week or so to work on it! With that, we have nearly doubled our team size to include the skills of Mr Zero, Robert Graff, Qulbut, Kaiser Wilhelm, Jon, Shams Tabrizi and myself, Jakob. Here at the Ultimate mod team, we enjoy the concepts of cooperation, community involvement and the inclusion of skilled personnel wherever we can find it.
